The Birthday Series at Heliconian Hall is a Toronto concert series produced by Michelle Kyle. Each concert celebrates the life and music of a composer of art songs and chamber music with a program of the composer's works on his or her birthday. Professional performers and students from Voice Studies at University of Toronto present both well-known and rarely performed vocal and instrumental music, with anecdotes about the composer, CDs of the composer's music as door prizes, and complimentary cake served with coffee and tea.
